Kathmandu. The much-awaited item song ‘Mahal Garam’ from the Nepali film ‘Pratibairam’, directed by Roshan Das, has been released in four languages. Aiming to give further momentum to the film’s promotion, the song has been brought to audiences in Nepali, Hindi, Maithili and Bhojpuri.

The Nepali version of the song has been released through OSR Digital, while the Hindi, Maithili and Bhojpuri versions have been released through Adarsh Production.

The Nepali version features lyrics by Roshan Das and music by Manish Adhikari. Sung by singer Hritika Shrestha, the song features Priyanka Karki in the role of ‘Basanti’.

The Hindi version is titled ‘Jawani Katil’, featuring vocals by Shivani Bhagat and lyrics by Love Karn. Similarly, the Maithili version has been released under the title ‘Jawani Seho Katil’, while the Bhojpuri version is titled ‘Gaunwa Ba Ghayal’. Suman Mandal is credited as the lyricist for the Maithili and Bhojpuri versions, while Samiksha Chaudhary has provided the vocals.

Alongside Priyanka Karki, Nabin Shrestha, Roni Yadav, Narayan BK and Pradeep Dhakal can also be seen in the song. The song not only presents an entertaining item performance but also offers glimpses of some important action sequences from the film.

The film features Samrat Das, Birendra Singh Kushwaha, Alisha Bastola, Supragya Sharma, Narayan Bik, Ashish Dike, Ramesh Budhathoki and others. Particularly toward the end of the song, actor Samrat Das is presented in an action avatar. ‘Pratibairam’ is Samrat Das’s debut film.

The song has been cinematographed by Nitesh Ghatan and Hari Dhakal. The choreography has been done by Surendra Basel. Editing has been handled by Kabir Od and Pankaj Mahato, while the VFX is by Sameer Miyan. Pankaj Mahato has handled the line production. Santosh Malla and Khemraj Koirala are the chief assistant directors, while Srijana Bhujel, Agni Subedi, Dhiraj Raut and Kushal Pokhrel have worked as assistant directors.

Bikki Shah is the executive producer of ‘Pratibairam’, Rakesh Shah is the creative producer, Anish Pokhrel is the co-producer, and Rajan Devi and Rita Devi are the associate producers. The film is produced by Harsh Kumar Yadav and Satyaraj Chaulagain.

The story and direction are by Roshan Das, while Yubraj Bhattarai is involved in the screenplay, dialogue and writing.

Presented by Raze Entertainment, ‘Pratibairam’ has been produced in collaboration with Adarsh Production, Simple Ad Media and Shreeyan Entertainment. The film is preparing for nationwide release from Mangsir 4, with National Cinema Group handling distribution.

According to the production team, ‘Pratibairam’ is centered on the social setting of Madhesh, with a story revolving around action, relationships, crime and revenge. The film will be released not only in Nepali but also in Hindi, Maithili and Bhojpuri.
